“Home is where the heart is.” It’s a common phrase meaning that our homes are a central place
in our lives—where we rest our heads, nourish our bodies and make fond memories with loved
ones. It’s the epicenter of our worlds, where we start and end each day, and where we keep our
most prized possessions.

This month, we bring you our Home issue, where we feature a family who, after 25 years of living in the same place, decided to forgo moving and do a full renovation instead. We also talk to two business owners who undertook renovations of old buildings to plant roots and grow in new locations.

With springtime upon us, there’s no better time for a little DIY project! Whether considering a simple
refresh of your interior or a complete renovation —for inspiration, we featured a beautiful home.

We hope this issue inspires you to appreciate the place you call home—both your personal
dwelling and our shared community—whether you’ve just moved or it’s a place your family has
occupied for generations.

And as you welcome this month’s issue into your home, please remember to patronize our
advertising partners, as they are the ones who make it all possible.

Here’s to home sweet home!
